Question based on a textbook side note
How can positive and negative ions both carry electric current in an electrolyte?
برق پاش میں مثبت اور منفی آئن دونوں رو کیسے اٹھاتے ہیں؟
Solution & explanation
Positive ions move toward the cathode and negative ions toward the anode. Oppositely signed charges moving in opposite directions contribute to the same conventional-current direction. Electrons carry current in the connecting metal wires; ions carry it through the electrolyte.
