Families strengthen prevention when they listen with respect and provide consistent care. A young person who can discuss stress may be more willing to ask for help. Humiliation can obstruct that conversation.
Schools and families should cooperate with qualified services. Prevention and recovery support are complementary responsibilities, and every affected person deserves dignity.
