Report: The king said to the hermit, “I have come to you, wise hermit, to ask you to answer three questions.”

The king told the hermit that he had come to him to ask him to answer three questions. Change said to → told; I → he; have come → had come; you → him. The direct address “wise hermit” need not be retained as a separate address.
